David Budworth AKA “Dave the Butcher” started his career as a butcher in 1989 at the Ashbury Market in San Francisco. He saw “Edible Feet” on a poultry box and he was hooked.
Later he landed in the outback of northern Australia where he worked on a farm for a group of bikers learning to slaughter and process wild pigs.
Fast forward through a handful of adventures traveling around the world and working under local San Francisco Bay Area butcher masters.
When he isn't teaching or traveling, you can find him running the show at Marina Meats in San Francisco, As well as teaching lamb butchery classes at San Francisco Cooking School, Dave is a bartender of a butcher- full of facts, recipes and butcher lore.
